Everything you need to know

It’s for any adult who finds technology confusing, overwhelming, or stressful, whatever their age or background. Many clients are referred by a family member or carer who wants their loved one to feel more confident and independent with technology. If you're not sure whether it's right for you, just get in touch today.

I mostly cover Hart, Rushmoor, East Hampshire, Waverley, and surrounding areas across Surrey and Hampshire and Berkshire. Not sure if you're included? Just ask I'm happy to check for you, or you can check your postcode on the website.
-
Just get in touch. You can call, send a WhatsApp message, fill in the contact form, or drop me an email - whichever feels most comfortable. There's no formal process and nothing you need to prepare. We'll have a friendly chat about what you're looking for, and take it from there.
-
Almost certainly, yes. Most people who've struggled before were learning in a group, following someone else's agenda, or relying on a busy family member with not enough time. Amble Digital is just you and me, in your own home, working only on what matters to you - at your pace, with no rushing and no judgement.
-
Family members want to help, but they're often busy, and even the most patient person can struggle to explain things without accidentally making you feel worse. As a professional trainer with over three years' experience and 200+ people supported, I'm trained to explain things clearly, calmly, and without any frustration.
-
That's completely normal, and you wouldn't be the first. Many clients feel nervous before their first session. There's no test, no pressure, and no expectation that you'll know anything at all. We start wherever you are, and we go at whatever pace feels comfortable. The Taster Session is specifically designed to let you see how it feels before committing to anything more.
-
This is one of the most common worries, and it's a good one to ask. Forgetting things doesn't mean you're not making progress; it just means you're human. We'll recap at the start of each session, and I can leave simple written notes for you to refer to between visits. Over time, things start to stick naturally, especially when you're practising something you actually want to use
-
Don't worry, simple troubleshooting that may occur during or right before the session is part of the service. Whether it's an error message, an accidental setting change, or a new device that needs setting up, we'll sort it together. You won't be left stuck.
-
Absolutely. Staying safe online is something we can cover whenever you need it. Recognising scams, avoiding suspicious links, and knowing what to do if something doesn't feel right. You don't have to wait until something goes wrong to ask about it.
-
Yes - if you've got a new phone, tablet, or computer, we can use a session to get it set up and make sure you feel comfortable using it from the start.
-
You can pay by cash, bank transfer, or card or book your sessions online on the website. I have a card terminal with me at every session.
-
I ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange. If a session is cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, the full session fee applies. If this happens twice, I'll ask that we rebook once the outstanding session is settled. This helps me keep the service fair for everyone.
