How to Install WhatsApp on your Android phone?

What you need before you start:

• a smart phone,

• an active phone number

• and internet connection (WIFI or mobile data)

STEP 1 - INSTALL THE APP

1. Find the triangle shape Play Store app on your phone and tap it to open

2. Type “WhatsApp” and tap “Search”

3. Find the WhatsApp icon

4. Tap the “Install” button

STEP 2- SET UP AN ACCOUNT

1. Tap “Open” or find the green WhatsApp icon on your home screen

2. Tap “Agree and Continue”

3. Choose country code +44, and type your mobile number (without the 0). Tap “Next”

4. Verify your mobile number: You’ll get a text message with a 6-digit code.

   Enter the code if it doesn’t fill in automatically.

5. Set up your profile: Type your name and add a photo if you like, and tap “Next”

   Now you are all set to start chatting with your friends and family!
